WCU Employees


Concept

In this tutorial, you will learn how to access the Parent Portal if you are a WCU employee and have a WCU email account.


Steps:

  1. When a student designates you as a proxy, you will receive an email containing a Security Key and a Link to access the University's Parent Portal.  You will first need to create an account.

     

     

    Copy or make note of the Security Key and click the Link to begin the account creation process.

    Step 1
  2. Enter your WCU email address.

     

    Enter the Security Key that was included inside the email notification you received.

     

    Click Submit.

  3. You already have a User ID but have not agreed to the Terms and Conditions.

     

    You will be re-directed to the myWCU login page.   Once you login, you will navigate to the Terms and Conditions page to sign the agreement.

     

    Click OK.

  4. Enter your WCU Username and Password.

     

    Click Sign In.

  5. Click the Shared Information link.

  6. Click the Shared Information Center link.

  7. Click Terms and Conditions.

  8. Please read the Terms and Conditions Agreement.

     

    Click the I accept terms and conditions box.

  9. Enter the Security Key that was included inside the email notification you received.

     

    Enter your WCU email address.

     

    Click Submit.

  10. Click the Shared Information Center link.

  11. Your are now able to view the information for which the student has given you access.

  12. Click the Class Schedule link.

  13. Select the Term you wish to view.

  15. The Class Schedule is displayed.

  16. Click the WCU Logo to return to the home page.

After completing this tutorial, you are able to access information in the Parent Portal using your WCU credentials.
