Proxy for More than One Student


Concept

In this tutorial, you will learn how to access data if you have been designated as proxy for more than one student.


Steps:

  1. When a student has delegated access to their data:

     

    The parent, or other proxy, will receive an email listing the transactions for which the student has granted access. 

     

    The email note contains the Security Key and Link needed to access the Parent Portal.

     

    If you are a proxy for more than one student, you will receive a security key for each student who permits you to access their data.

  2. Copy or make note of the Security Key and click the Link to begin creating an account.

  3. Enter the email address where the email notification was sent to you.

     

    Enter the Security Key that was included inside the email notification you received.

     

    Click Submit

  4. You already have a User ID but have not agreed to the Terms and Conditions.

     

    You will be re-directed to the myWCU login page.   Once you login, you will navigate to the Terms and Conditions page to sign the agreement.

     

    Click OK

  5. Enter your User ID and Password.

     

    This is the Username and Password you selected when you created your account.

     

    Note:  Your password is not the Security Key you received in an email. 

     

    Click Sign In.

  6. Click the Shared Information Center link.

  7. Click to accept the Terms and Conditions for the second student.

  8. You will be directed to the Terms and Conditions Agreement page.  Please read, then click the I accept terms and conditions box.

  9. Enter the Security Key that was included inside the email notification you received.

     

    Enter the email address where the email notification was sent to you.

  11. Click the Shared Information Center link.

  12. All students who have granted you access to their information will be listed in your Shared Information Center page.

     

    Note:   You will have access only to the transactions for which the student has granted access.

  13. Click the Class Schedule link.

  14. Select the student whose schedule you wish to view.

     

    In this example, click Allison Taylor.

  17. The student's schedule is displayed.

     

    Click View Addresses.

  18. Only one student has given access to view their address.

    Select the student whose information you wish to view.   In this example, select Andrew Taylor.
