Parents or Proxy


Concept

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create an account to access the Parent Portal.


Steps:

  1. When a student has delegated access to their data:

     

    The parent, or other proxy, will receive an email listing the transactions for which the student has granted access. 

     

    The email note contains the Security Key and Link needed to access the Parent Portal.

  2. Copy or make note of the Security Key and click the Link to begin creating an account.

  3. After clicking the link, you will begin the Account Creation process.

  4. Enter the email address where the email notification was sent to you.

     

    Enter the Security Key that was included inside the email notification you received.

     

    Click Submit.

  5. Complete the "Create Account" form.   All fields are required.

  6. Click Create Account.

  7. You will be directed to the Terms and Conditions Agreement page.  Please read, then click the I accept terms and conditions box.

  8. Enter the Security Key that was included inside the email notification you received.

     

    Enter the email address where the email notification was sent to you.

  10. After the agreement is validated, you will be directed to the Parent Portal homepage.

  11. Click the Shared Information Center link.

  12. The student has given you access to their Class Schedule and Course History.

  13. Click Class Schedule.

  14. Select the Term you wish to view.

  15. Click Continue.

  16. The Class Schedule is displayed.

  17. Click the Course History link.

  18. To view in full screen mode, click to collapse the navigation bar.

  20. Click to return the navigation menu.

  21. Click the Shared Information Center link to return.

  23. After you sign the agreement you will receive a confirmation email that your account has been created.
