In this topic, you will learn how to access a Class Roster.
All student names and ID numbers are concealed to protect confidentiality.
Steps:
Click Faculty Quick Links
Step 1Click Faculty Center.
Step 2This is the Faculty Center page.
Step 3Click the Class Roster icon.

Click this icon to Download your roster to an Excel spreadsheet.
Step 6Click the Open button.
Step 7Click the Yes button.
Step 8Click the File Tab button.
Step 9Click Save As

Rename the file and save it as an Excel workbook.
Click the Save button.
Step 11The class roster is saved as an Excel spreadsheet.
You are now able to add, delete, and manipulate the columns just as you would when using Excel.
Step 12You can sort columns in your class roster.

Scroll to the bottom of the roster to email your students.
Step 14To notify specific students, click the 'notify' box next to the student's name.
In this example, we'll notify students # 29, 33, and 35.

Select additional students by clicking the Notify box.
Step 16Click the Notify box.
Step 17After the students you want to e-mail are selected, click the Notify Selected Students button.
Step 18You will receive a copy of the note in your WCU email account.
Note: The students receive the email as a Blind Carbon Copy (BCC)
Step 19State the purpose of your email in the Subject line and type your message in the Message Text area; then click Send Notification.
Step 20To send a note to ALL students on your class roster, click the Notify All Students button.
Step 21State the purpose of your email in the Subject line and type your message in the Message Text area; then click Send Notification.
Step 22Click the Return to Class Roster link.
Step 23Click the Faculty Center link.
