Emailing Students


In this topic you will e-mail students on your class roster.

 

All student names and ID numbers are concealed to protect confidentiality.


Steps:

  1. Click the Class Roster icon on the Faculty Center page.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.

  3. Send a note to selected students:

     

    Click the Notify box next to the students you wish to e-mail.   In this exercise, we will e-mail student # 30 and 34.

  4. Click the Notify box

  5. Click the Notify Selected Students button.

  6. A copy of the note is sent to the Professor.  The students receive the note as a "blind carbon copy".

     

    State the purpose of your email in the subject line; type your message and click send notification

  7. Click the Return to Class Roster link.

  8. Send a note to all students on the class roster:

     

    To send a note to all students in the class, click the Notify All Students button.
