Advisor Report


In this topic, you will learn how to run an Advisor Report.


Steps:

  1. Click Main Menu

  2. Click Manage Student Records

  3. Click Department Reports

  4. Click WCU Advisor Report

  5. The first time you run this process (report), click the Add a New Value tab.

  6. Enter your own Run Control ID.   You can use your first initial and last name (no spaces).  

     

    In this example, enter dlaverty.

  7. Click the Add button.

     

    Important:   After you have selected your run control id, you simply enter it for any future reports, rather than selecting a new value.

  8. Enter the fields with the parameters you desire for your report.

  9. Click Career.

  10. Select Undergraduate.

  11. Click Department.

  12. Select Art.

  13. If you are unsure of the Term, click the magnifying glass to perform a search.

  14. Select 2125 (2012 Fall)

  15. Click Advisor Role.

  16. Always select Advisor.

  18. There are two Advisor Reports:

     

    Department Advisees List

    List Students with No Advisor

  19. Select the check box for the option you desire.  In this example, select Department Advisees List.

  20. Select Type.

  21. Select Email as the type.

     

    Keep PDF as the format.

  22. Click OK.

  23. You will be returned to the previous page while the process is running.

  24. When the process runs successfully, it will be emailed to your WCU email account.

     

    Double click to open the email message.

  25. Click to open the PDF attachment.

  26. The Department Advisee List is displayed.

     

    Click the printer icon to print the report.
