Text Boxes


In this topic, we will insert a Text Box into a PowerPoint presentation.


Steps:

  1. Click the Insert tab.

  2. Click Text Box.

  3. The cursor will change to a sword.   Click and drag the mouse to make a text box of whatever size you want.

     

    Right-click the Text Box.

  4. Click Format Shape

  5. Click Text Box.

  6. Put a check next to Wrap text in shape.

  7. Notice that many other options exist under the Format Shape dialog box; feel free to experiment and see what happens.   The options here allow you to affect many different aspects of the shape

  8. After making your selections, click the Close button.
