How to Change the Archive Policy in Outlook:

By default, all folders are set from the "parent folder" which is to never archive messages.   You are able to change policies for each folder individually.   However, by changing the policy for the "parent folder" you can archive automatically.   Archiving will create the same folder structure in your personal archive that you have in your primary mailbox.  You can access the archived folders from Outlook or Webmail.

When an archive policy is assigned to a folder or its messages, you can select one or multiple messages and then assign a different policy to only those messages.   A policy assigned to a message takes precedence over any inherited folder policy.
