Page Layout


In this topic, we will review the Page Layout Tab.

 


Steps:

  1. Select the Page Layout Tab from the Ribbon.

  2. Page Setup Group

    Step 2
  3. Margins: allows you to select the margin sizes for the entire document or the current selection.

     

    Step 3

  4. Orientation - allows you to switch the pages between portrait and landscape layouts.

    Step 4

  5. Size - lets you choose a paper size for the current selection.

    Step 5

  6. Print Area - lets you mark a specific area of the sheet for printing.

     

    Step 6

  7. The Breaks icon allows you to specify where a new page will begin in the printed copy.

  8. The Background icon lets you choose an image to display as the background for the sheet.

    Step 8

  9. Print Titles specify rows and columns to repeat on each printed page.

  10. Scale to Fit Group

  11. Shrink the Width of printer output to fit a maximum number of pages

    Step 11

  12. Shrink the Height of printer output to fit a maximum number of pages

    Step 12

  13. Scale allows you to stretch or shrink the printed output to a percentage of its actual size.

  14. Sheet Options Group

  15. Select the Print option if you want to print gridlines.

  16. Select the Print option if you want to print headings.
