Saving a Workbook


In this topic, you will learn how to save a workbook.


Steps:

  1. Save the file using "Save"

     

    Select the File Tab

  2. Select Save 

     

    This saves the current file

  3. Save the file using "Save As"

     

    Click the File Tab

  4. Select Save As

  5. With Save As, you have the option to change the location, file name and file type.

  6. You can select a different file type. 

     

    In this example, we'll save the file as an Excel 97-2003 Workbook.

  7. Click the Save button.

  8. You can also save by clicking  the Save icon on the Quick Access bar.
