Changing the width of two or more consecutive columns or rows


In this topic, you will learn how to change the width of two consecutive columns (or rows).


Steps:

  1. Highlight the entire column (or row) you want to change

     

     

    Step 1

  2. While holding the [Shift] key, click the next column (or row).

    Step 2
  3. Place your mouse between any of the highlighted columns (or rows).

     

    Note:  Your cursor will appear as a 'cross'.  Click and drag the 'cross' to the desired width.

  4. When you reach the desired width of your column, release the mouse button.

    Step 4
  5. The width of  columns E and F have been increased.

     

    Now, decrease the width of the columns.

  6. To decrease the width, place your mouse between the columns; click and drag your cursor to the left.

  7. When you have reached the desired width, release the mouse button.
