Display Absences


In this topic, you will learn how to Display Absences in ESS.


  1. Click the Employee Self-Service tab.

  2. Click the Leave & Time tab.

  3. Click the Display Absences link.

  4. Enter a Start and End date for the period you wish to view.

  5. Use the calendar to select specific dates.

    Step 5
  6. Click the Display Results button.

    Step 6
  7. Your absences are displayed.


    If the absence was an entire working day, then no start or end date will show.

  8. To view a specific type of leave, click Filter by Absence Type list.

  9. Click the column header to sort the selected column.

  10. The list is sorted alphabetically by absence type.

  11. Click the Back link to return to the Leave & Time main page.
