In this topic, you will learn about the Home Tab.


Steps:

  1. The Home Tab provides two options for your working view of 25Live:

                                  Dashboard and Calendar

     

    This is the Dashboard View.  Dashboard is your web-based desktop for quick access to 25Live information.

  2. Click the Calendar tab to change views.

  3. Calendar view:   Calendar provides easy access to pre-defined events happening on the dates you specify.

  4. Click to select a start and end date.  Or, use the arrows to shift the date forward or back.

  5. We'll select August 1, 2013 as our start date.

  6. We'll select August 14, 2013 as our end date.

  7. Click to update the calendar.

  8. You can Enforce a Date Range Interval from 1 day to 90 days.

  9. The events scheduled from August 1 through August 14.

     

    Click to return to the Dashboard.

  10. You can click and drag Dashboard elements to rearrange them.

     

    In this example, we'll move the Quick Search element.

  12. You can hide Dashboard elements that you do not use.

     

    Click Customize Dashboard.

  13. Click and drag the element you want to hide.

     

    In this example, we'll hide Your Event Drafts

  14. The element is placed in this area and is hidden from view. 

    You can always click and drag the element to return it to your Dashboard.

     

    Click Done.

  15. To reset the Dashboard, click Customize Dashboard.

  16. Click Reset Dashboard to return to its default settings.

  19. You can perform a Quick Search for Events, Locations,or Resources.

     

    Search will look for matches in the event names and titles, event reference number, location short and formal names, or resource names.

     

    Searches are not case sensitive.

     

    In this example, we'll search Location.

  20. Enter whole words or beginning of word fragments.

     

    In this example, we'll do a location search for Sykes.  We'll enter syk (not case sensitive).

  23. Click the Home tab to return to the Dashboard.

  24. The following options appear at the bottom of every 25Live page:

  26. Click Feedback to send an email to Space Management.

  27. Click Help Tips to enable or disable the tool tips displayed when your cursor hovers over a functional area.

  28. Click Text Size to change the text size in 25Live without losing functionality.
