Locations Tab

In this topic, you will learn about the Locations tab.


Steps:

  1. Click the Locations tab.

  2. Click in the search field.

  3. Enter your search criteria.  In this example, we'll search AND201.

  4. Click Go.

  5. List view provides a detailed description of the location.

  6. Click the Availability tab.

  7. Please take a moment to read about Availability view.

    Then click the Hide this Guide button.

  8. Click the Calendar tab.

  9. Click here to Save your search.

  10. Click a save option.  In this example, we'll save our Search Criteria.

  11. Click in the Search Name field.

  12. Give your search a name.  In this example, we'll use AND201

  13. Click the box to Add this to Your Starred Searches.

     

    Click Save Search button.

  17. AND201 has been saved to your Starred Location Searches.

  18. Now you can simply click Your Starred Location!

  19. Right-click a location and select a view format to drill down to that location.

  20. In this example, we'll select Details.

  21. When viewing a single location you can select any of the following:

     

    Choose among a Details, List, Availability or Calendar view of the location.

     

    Change the dates of interest (if you're viewing a List, Availability grid, or Calendar).

  22. Use the Actions drop down menu to perform a variety of related actions.

  23. Click to close the window.

  24. Click this icon to create an event for the location.

  25. The Event Wizard will open for you to create the event.

  26. You can click a column heading to sort locations using that criterion.

     

    Use the drop down menu to Choose Visible Columns.

  27. Click the Availability sub tab.

  28. In Availability view, you can see at a glance the overall activity for each location on the specified date.

     

    Right click an event to drill down to the event information, edit the event, or send an email with the event details.

  29. Roll over a shaded time slot in the grid to see an overview of information for that event.

  30. Click an empty time slot to reserve that location for that date/time

  34. From the Calendar view of locations, you can:

     

    See at a glance the overall activity on each specified date.

     

    Right click an event name to drill down to event information,

    edit the event, or send an email with the event details.

     

    Right click a location name and select a view format to drill down to that location.

     

    Click the "pencil" icon to create an event for a location.
