Begin by navigating to the Generate Accounting Lines page.

You can run this process by searching for an existing Run Control ID or you can add a new value. Creating a Run Control ID that is relevant to the report may help you remember it for future use.

A Run Control ID is an identifier that, when paired with your User ID, uniquely identifies the process you are running. The Run Control ID defines parameters that are used when a process is run. This ensures that when a process runs in the background, the system does not prompt you for additional values.

Use the Generate Accounting Entries page to enter the request parameters. These parameters will be used to define the processing rules and data to be included when the process is run.Step 7
Use the Generate Accounting Entries page to create accounting entries using the GL Interface process.Step 8
The page used to run the Cashiering GL Interface process is very similar to this one.
For cashiering, there are two additional fields to identify the cashier's office and business date of the transactions.Step 9

Choose the journal template that you want to use to create the transactions. In this case, you want to use the Commitment Accounting Template, code PTMPLT.

Click the Manual Batch Publish link to access the Batch Publish page, where you can run the Manual Batch Publish process to publish accounting line information to PeopleSoft Financials.
This link appears only if your system interfaces with PeopleSoft Financials 8.4.Step 14
At this point, you would continue to run the Generate Accounting Entries process just as you would any other PeopleSoft Enterprise Process Scheduler process.
