The first field is the Effective Date. The default value is the current system date, but this can be changed if needed. For this example, use the default date.Step 9

If the related person's record is not in your database, you must specify the bio/demographic data in the Relationship grid. However, if the related person's data is in your database, you can specify the related person's ID number in the Related ID field. After you enter the iD, the system will display the related person's data.

In his application, John has given the reference of Sofia Macadaan whose details already exist in your database. Sofia's ID number is FA0060. Therefore, you can use this ID to relate John and Sofia.

Use the Relationship field to indicate a person's relationship to this individual, such as mother, neighbor, employer, or loan reference. In this example, John has specified Sofia as a reference on his application for financial aid. Therefore, Sofia is the loan reference.

Use the Guardian field to select the legal guardianship that describes the status of the related person to the primary individual. Valid values are: Guardian, N/A, Other, Parent, and Self.

There are some additional buttons and links on this page that you can use to navigate to related pages.
Click the Biographical Details link to access the Biographical Details page, on which you can view or update the related person's biographical data.Step 18
Click the Legacy button to access the Legacy Information page, on which you can identify the related person's legacy relation with your institution.Step 19
Click the Communication Recipients button to access the Communication Recipient page, on which you can specify the communications for which a copy should also be sent to the related person.Step 20
Click the Joint Communication Management button to access the Joint Communication Management page, on which you can create or dissolve joint communications for these two individuals.Step 21
Next, you need to specify the related individual's address on the Relationship Address page.

Use the Relationship Address page to review addresses for the primary individual and review or enter address data for the related individual.Step 23
The fields in the Related ID (or Name) Address region specify the related individual's address details.
In the Address Type field, select the related individual's address type. If the related individual has an ID number in your database, the system automatically displays the address for the address type you select. Note that only the address types that contain data are available in the Address Type drop-down list.

Use the Income field to enter the related individual's income. The value in this field is usually the annual income. Alternatively, you can specify hourly or monthly income.

In the Occupation field, you can specify the related individual's occupation. Occupation codes are set on the Standard Occupation Classification Code page as part of your implementation of PeopleSoft Student Administration.

If the related person is employed by an organization whose record is stored in your database, you can include that organization's ID number in the Employer ID field. The system will automatically display the name of the related person's employer in the Employer field when you save the page. If the employer does not have an organization ID in your database, you can manually enter the employer's name in the Employer field.

Click the Phones link to access the Phone Numbers page, on which you can review or change telephone numbers for the related ID.
For a related individual with no ID in your database, manually enter the individual's phone data in the Daytime Telephone section.Step 39
Click the Email Address link to access the Electronic Addresses page, on which you can review or change URLs and email addresses for the related ID.
For a related individual with no ID in your database, manually enter the individual's email data in the Email ID section.Step 40
If this related individual has an ID in your database, click the Biographical Details link to access the Biographical Details page, on which you can review or change additional basic data for the related ID.Step 41
Click the Citizenship and Passport Data link to access the Citizenship/Passport page, on which you can review or change additional citizenship and passport data for the related ID.
For related individuals without an ID in your database, you must manually enter the related individual's country and citizenship status.Step 42
