Steps:
Begin by navigating to the School Course Classification page.
Click the Campus Community link.
Step 1Click the Organization link.
Step 2Click the Create/Maintain Organizations link.
Step 3Click the School Course Classification link.
Step 4Enter the desired information into the External Org ID field. Enter
Click the Search button.
Step 6Use the School Course Classification page to enter the courses offered for each of the organization's subject areas.
Step 7Click the Add Row button.
Step 8Use the School Course Number field to enter the number of the external course, usually the catalog number.
Enter the desired information into the School Course Number: field. Enter
Click in the Effective Date field.
Step 10Specify the date from which the course will be valid. By default, the effective date is set to the current system date.

The Status can be Active or Inactive.
Step 12Click in the Description field.
Step 13Enter the desired information into the Description field. Enter
Click in the Short Description field.
Step 15Enter the desired information into the Short Description field. Enter
In the External Subject Area field, enter the code, from the External Subjects Table page, that describes the subject area of this external course. When courses have different names but are similar in subject—for example, Chemistry and Biology—you can represent both by the single subject that you select here, such as LABS (for Laboratory Science).
Click in the External Subject Area field.
Step 17Enter the desired information into the External Subject Area field. Enter
In the Career field, select the career level (for example, Undergraduate, Graduate, or PostDoc) of this external course.
In this example, retain the default value.
Step 19In the External Course Type field, select a type for this external course. Course types include Challenge, Equivalent, or Event.
Click the External Course Type list.
Step 20Click the Course list item.
Step 21In the Course Level field, select the level (for example, Freshman, Graduate, or Honors) at which this course is offered.
Click the Course Level list.
Step 22Click the Lower Dvsn list item.
Step 23In the External Units field, enter the number of units offered by this external course.
Click in the External Units field.
Step 24Enter the desired information into the External Units field. Enter
Click the Save button.
Step 26You have successfully entered school course information.
