Processing Refunds for ePayments


Concept


Steps:

  1. Begin by navigating to the Student Refund page.

     

    Click the Student Financials link.

  2. Click the Refunds link.

  3. Click the Student Refund link.

  4. Click the Search button.

  5. Use the Student Refund page to create an online refund for a student.

  6. You want to process a refund for Terry Navis whose student ID is SFTRN055.

     

    Enter the desired information into the ID field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "SFTRN055"
    .

  7. The system populates all areas of the page with the student's account information. You can use links on the page to view more details.

     

    Click the Academic Information link to access the Student Refund - Academic Information inquiry page.

  8. Click the Student Accounts link to access the Student Accounts inquiry page.

  9. In the Refund Selection group box, select the check box next to each credit line item to include in the refund. This group box displays the account type, academic term, item type description, original monetary amount, and balance of each line item.

  10. In this example, you do not want to include the Miscellaneous Fees item.

     

    Click the MISFEES001-2007 SpQt option.

  11. Click in the Refund Item Type field.

  12. Enter the desired information into the Refund Item Type field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "400000000800"
    .

  13. Click in the Address Type field.

  14. Enter the desired information into the Address Type field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "HOME"
    .

  15. Click the Post Refund button.

  16. You can continue this process by clicking the Produce Check link to access the Produce Student Refund Check page where you can process the check.

You have successfully processed refunds for ePayments.
