Creating Student-Specific Agreements

Steps:

  1. Begin by navigating to the Student Agreements page.

     

    Click the Records and Enrollment link.

  2. Click the Transfer Credit Evaluation link.

  3. Click the Student Agreements link.

  4. You can run this process by searching for an existing Run Control ID or you can add a new value. Creating a Run Control ID that is relevant to the process may help you remember it for future use.

     

    Click the Add a New Value tab.

  5. A Run Control ID is an identifier that, when paired with your User ID, uniquely identifies the process you are running. The Run Control ID defines parameters that are used when a process is run. This ensures that when a process runs in the background, the system does not prompt you for additional values.

     

    Enter the desired information into the ID field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "SR0400"

  6. Click in the Source ID field.

  7. This is the ID of the other institution involved in the student agreement.

     

    Enter the desired information into the Source ID field. Enter

  9. Use the Student Agreements page to describe specific student agreements, identify the external institution where the student will earn the course credit, and enter comments that pertain to the agreement.

  14. Click the Student Agreement Courses tab.

  15. Use the Student Agreement Courses page to enter the external courses and equivalent internal courses of specific study agreements.

     

    These study agreement equivalency rules are separate from the course transfer equivalency rules that you might have created and attached to academic programs and plans.

  22. Enter the grading scheme from which you can select a valid grading basis for this external course.  In this case, the grading scheme is Undergrad.

     

    Click in the Ext Grd Scheme field.

  24. Enter a grading basis to define all of the valid grades from which you can select a minimum grade for this external course.  In this case, the grade basis is Graded.

     

    Click in the Ext Grd Basis field.

  26. Enter the minimum grade that the student must receive in this external course for the course to fulfill the study agreement.

  31. By default, the system populates the offering number and number of units transferred for the course ID that you entered, according to the definition of the course in your academic institution's course catalog.
