Adding Incoming Test and Equivalent Course Information Manually


Concept


Steps:

  1. Begin by navigating to the Test Credit Entry page.

     

    Click the Records and Enrollment link.

  2. Click the Test Credits - Manual link.

  3. Enter the desired information into the ID field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "SR0812"

  4. Click the Search button.

  5. Use the Test Credit Entry page to set up test transfer credit models and articulate transfer credit by creating test transfer models manually.

  6. This section of the page displays existing equivalent course information added to this test credit model for a particular term.

  7. You want to add a new row to this model for a new term.

     

    Click the Add Row button.

  8. Enter the desired information into the Articulation Term field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "0590"
    .

  9. This button enables you to access the Equivalent Course Information page.

     

    Click the Edit Equivalent Course button.

  10. Use the Equivalent Course Information page to view or add incoming test credit information for a specific row of a test transfer credit model.

  11. Enter the desired information into the Test ID field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "AP"

  12. Click in the Component field.

  13. Enter the desired information into the Component field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "CH"

  14. Click in the Course ID field.

  15. Enter the desired information into the Course ID field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "001163"

  16. Click the OK button.

  17. The system populates this area of the page with the equivalent course information you just entered.

  18. You can return to the Equivalent Course Information page to view additional details about the course you added.

     

    Click the Edit Equivalent Course button.

  19. The system populates remaining fields on this page by default, based on the course ID that you entered.  You can view information about the course, its grading basis, units, and other details.

  20. Now that you have reviewed this information, return to the Test Credit Details page.

     

    Click the Cancel button.

You have successfully added and reviewed equivalent course information.
