Producing Electronic Transcripts


Concept


Steps:

  1. Begin by navigating to the Transcript Request page.

     

    Click the Records and Enrollment link.

  3. Click the Electronic Transcript Request link.

  4. Enter the desired information into the ID field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "SR0500"

  5. Click the Search button.

  6. Use the Transcript Request page to enter general information about the transcript request.

  7. Click the Transcript Type list.

  8. You want to request an official transcript, because the student has recently graduated.

     

    Click the Official Transcripts - All list item.

  9. Click the Request Reason list.

  10. Click the Graduation list item.

  11. Click the Address tab.

  12. Use the Address page to enter address information for the organization or person to which you are sending the electronic transcript.

  13. You want to send this to another university, Long Beach City College.

     

    Click the Specify External Org ID option.

  14. Click in the Org ID field.

  15. Enter the desired information into the Org ID field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "000010146"

  16. Click in the Location Nbr field.

  17. Enter the desired information into the Location Nbr field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "1"

  18. Click in the Country field.

  19. After you enter a location number, the system populates the Country and Address fields with the location address on file in the system.

  21. Use the Send Options page to specify the send method and the recipient's email information.

  23. You want to send the transcript to Long Beach City College by email.

     

    Click the Email list item.

  25. Enter the desired information into the Email Address field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "person@lbcc.edu"

  26. Click in the E-Mail Message field.

  27. You can enter any message to send to the institution, along with the electronic transcript.

     

    Enter the desired information into the E-Mail Message field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "Attached you will find the requested transcript."

  28. Click the Process button to immediately process the request and send the report.

     

    Click the Process button.

  29. Click the Request History tab.

  30. The Request History page  displays the electronic transcript request history for the student.

You have successfully processed an electronic transcript request for a student.
