You may be required to report the ethnicity of students, staff, and constituents in your campus community. Use the ethnicity pages described in this topic to record the necessary information.
For purposes of reporting to the United States government, students must be placed in one of a limited number of ethnic groups. However, you might want to track ethnicity on a more diverse level. Ethnicity codes enable you to define as many ethnic types as necessary. You can then specify the government ethnic group to which each ethnicity code belongs.
