Step 3You can run this process by searching for an existing Run Control ID or you can add a new value. Creating a Run Control ID that is relevant to the process may help you remember it for future use.
Click the Add a New Value tab.
Step 4A Run Control ID is an identifier that, when paired with your User ID, uniquely identifies the process you are running. The Run Control ID defines parameters that are used when a process is run. This ensures that when a process runs in the background, the system does not prompt you for additional values.
Enter the desired information into the Run Control ID field. Enter
Click the Add button.
Step 6Use the Request Student Job Data page to enter the request parameters. These parameters will be used to define the processing rules and data to be included when the process is run.
Step 7Click the Processing Population list.
Step 8Click the T4A Students list item.
Step 9Enter a number for records committed to the database; select this option to commit a specified number of transactions during background processing.
Step 10For example, if you enter 100 in the Commit Frequency field, when you run a batch process the system processes 100 transactions and then commits them to the database until the batch is complete.
At the end of a batch process, the system commits all remaining transactions even if the number of transactions is less than the number in the Commit Frequency field.
Step 11Select the Confirm Job Data Created check box to create a record in the message log of the process monitor for every job record created.
Click the Confirm Job Data Created option.
Step 12At this point, you would continue to run the T4A Student Data process just as you would any other PeopleSoft Enterprise Process Scheduler process.
