Entering Organization Locations


Concept


Steps:

  1. Begin by navigating to the Location Summary page.

     

    Click the Campus Community link.

  3. Click the Organization Locations link.

  4. Enter the desired information into the External Org ID field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "0061"

  5. Click the Search button.

  6. Use the Location Summary page to view a summary of the location address data.

  7. The Location field displays the number of this location in the list of locations for this organization.

     

    The system automatically assigns the next sequential number to each location that you add. You can manually override these numbers to rearrange the order of the locations.

  8. As you can see, there are currently no addresses on file in the system. Click the Location Details link to access the Location Detail page to add address information.

     

    Click the Location Details link.

  9. Use the Location Detail page to enter the physical or mailing address of the organization, the electronic addresses and the phone numbers for each location of an organization.

  10. Click in the Description field.

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "South Padre City College"

  12. Click in the Short Desc field.

  14. Use the Country field to specify the country of this location. Labels in the address format for the specified country appear so that you can enter or review the address of this location.

     

    Click in the Country field.

  16. Click the Edit Address link to access the Edit Address page, where you can add or edit a location address.

     

    Click the Edit Address link.

  17. Use the Edit Address page to enter address data for the organization's location.

    Click in the URL Address field.

  31. Use the EDI Address field to enter the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) address for this location of the organization.

    Click the Phone Type list.

  45. Note that the system selected the Preferred check box for the first phone number that you entered, to indicate that this is the preferred phone number for the location. You can change that designation.
