Tracking Special Grade Point Averages



  1. Begin by navigating to the Student Special GPA page.


    Click the Records and Enrollment link.

  3. Click the Search button.

  4. Click the Show following tabs button.

  5. Click the Student Special GPA tab.

  6. Use the Student Special GPA page to assign types of grade point averages to a specific student's term record, indicating whether the student's special TGPA belongs to his or her academic program, academic plan, or academic subplan.

  7. Click the Next Row button.

  9. Click in the GPA Type field.

  10. You are entering a Program GPA, with a code of PRGM. Values for GPA type are defined and maintained by your institution.


    Enter the desired information into the GPA Type field. Enter

     a valid value

  11. Click in the GPA field.

  12. Enter the desired information into the GPA field. Enter

     a valid value

  13. Select the Entered Online check box to distinguish this special grade point average from those populated by a configured background process.


    Click the Entered Online option.

  14. Click in the Academic Program field.

  15. Enter the desired information into the Academic Program field. Enter

     a valid value

  16. Click in the Academic Plan field.

  17. Enter the desired information into the Academic Plan field. Enter

     a valid value

  18. Click the Save button.

You have tracked a special grade point average for a student in the system.
