Running the Grade Lapse Process



  1. Begin by navigating to the Grade Lapse page.


    Click the Curriculum Management link.

  4. You can run this process by searching for an existing Run Control ID or you can add a new value. Creating a Run Control ID that is relevant to the process may help you remember it for future use.


    Click the Add a New Value tab.

  5. A Run Control ID is an identifier that, when paired with your User ID, uniquely identifies the process you are running. The Run Control ID defines parameters that are used when a process is run. This ensures that when a process runs in the background, the system does not prompt you for additional values.


    Enter the desired information into the Run Control ID field. Enter

  6. Click the Add button.

  7. Use the Grade Lapse page to enter the request parameters. These parameters will be used to define the processing rules and data to be included when the process is run.

  8. Click the Institution list.

  9. Click the PSUNV list item.

  10. Click in the Career field.

  11. Enter the desired information into the Career field. Enter

     a valid value

The lapse deadline is the last day that the student has to complete the incomplete.  So you must enter a date that is later than or equal to the fully graded date from the Term Calendar 3 page plus the lapse days that are identified on the Incomplete page in the Academic Program Table component.


    Click in the Lapse Deadline field.

  15. Enter the desired information into the Lapse Deadline field. Enter

     a valid value

  18. At this point, you would continue to run the Grade Lapse process just as you would any other PeopleSoft Enterprise Process Scheduler process.

  19. After the process completes successfully, access the Student Incomplete page.


    Click the vertical scrollbar.

     a valid value

  25. Use the Student Incomplete page to review the Grade Lapse process results for an individual student.
