Depending on your business unit setup, a refund might require approval by up to three separate approvers. When approval is required, you cannot create a paysheet for a refund (payroll method only), complete a refund, or print a refund until it has been approved.
Using Student Financials, you can route batch refund approvals to worklists and then approve them. You can also view the progress of a refund requiring approval.
However, before you can route refunds for approval, you must first set up refund and approval workflow. Use the Refund Approval page in the SF Business Unit component to invoke refund approval and define the roles and amounts that trigger refund approval workflow.
