Begin by navigating to the Event Types pages.

Click the Event Type Table link.Step 3
Click the Add a New Value tab.Step 4
Enter the desired information into the Event Type field. Enter

Use the Event Types page to define the general types of events.Step 7
Use the Effective Date field to enter the date from which this event type is valid. It defaults to the current system date, but can be modified if necessary. To ensure this value is available for all possible records, use a date far in the past.

The Status can be Active or Inactive.Step 9

Click in the Short Description field.Step 12
