Entering Grades Online


Concept


Steps:

  1. Begin by navigating to the Grade Roster Type page.

     

    Click the Curriculum Management link.

  2. Click the Grade Roster link.

  3. Click in the Term field.

  4. Enter the desired information into the Term field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "0590"

  5. Click in the Subject Area field.

  6. Enter the desired information into the Subject Area field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "SPAN"

  7. Click in the Catalog Nbr field.

  8. Enter the desired information into the Catalog Nbr field. Enter

     a valid value

     "101"

  9. Click the Session list.

  10. Click the Regular Academic Session list item.

  12. Use the Grade Roster Type page to post grades on a course-by-course basis.

  13. Click the Grade Roster tab.

  14. Use the Grade Roster page to enter official grades and requirement designation grades, view enrollment summary information, and add transcript notes.

  15. If you are using blind grading IDs, the roster lists students in random order. If you are not using blind grading IDs, the roster lists students in ID order.

  24. Even though you have entered a grade, it does not become official until the grade is posted. Posting grades is an important step because it officially assigns final class grades to the students' career term records.

  25. You can continue to revise and update the page by saving the information. As long as you do not post grades, you are able to revise them.

  26. Links on this page enable you to access pages to view student enrollment details and to enter or view transcript notes related to the student's enrollment record.
