Setting Up Resource Codes



  1. Begin by navigating to the Resource Codes page.


    Click the Campus Community link.

  2. Click the Campus Event Planning link.

  3. Click the Resource Code Table link.

  4. Click the Add a New Value tab.

  5. Enter the desired information into the Resource Code field. Enter

     a valid value

  6. Click the Add button.

  7. Use the Resource Codes page to review or create codes for the resources to make available for events, such as tables, chairs, brochures, and banners.

  8. Use the Effective Date field to enter the date from which this resource code is valid. It defaults to the current system date, but can be modified if necessary. To ensure this value is available for all possible records, use a date far in the past.


    Enter the desired information into the Effective Date field. Enter

     a valid value

  9. The Status can be Active or Inactive.

  10. Click in the Description field.

  11. Enter the desired information into the Description field. Enter

     a valid value

  12. Click in the Short Description field.

    Step 12
  13. Enter the desired information into the Short Description field. Enter

     a valid value

  14. Click the Save button.

You have successfully set up a resource code.
