Begin by navigating to the System Settings page.

Use the Retention Days field to enter the number of days before the files that are on the report repository are deleted. This value is used with the current date to calculate the expiration date on reports in Report Manager.Step 5

Use the Purge Settings page to empty the PeopleSoft Process Scheduler tables and file system. This operation will schedule the Application Engine program PRCSYSPURGE.Step 7
In the Next Purge Date field, enter the date on which the next file purge process is to run on the server. This is based on the recurrence schedule.Step 8
Use the Next Purge Time field to enter the time when the next file purge process is to run on the server. This is based on the recurrence schedule.Step 9
Use the Recurrence field to select a recurrence schedule for the purge process.Step 10
Use the Recurrence field to define the interval to run the purge program.
Click the Look up Recurrence button.Step 11
The recurrence options defined for your system will appear.Step 12
Click the Cancel button.Step 13
Select the Purge Process Files check box to purge files.Step 14
The Archive Process Request check box is not used in this PeopleTools release.Step 15
In the Days Before Purge field, enter the number of days before a process should be physically deleted from the request table.Step 16
If the Enabled check box is cleared, process requests with this run status are not purged.Step 17
