Printing Crystal 9 Reports


Concept


Steps:

  1. Begin by opening an existing report using the Open button.

     

    Click the Open button.

  2. Use the Open dialog box to browse and select a report from the list.

  3. In this example, you will print a hard copy of the CUSTOMER_INFORMATION report.

     

    Click the CUSTOMER_INFORMATION.rpt list item.

  4. Click the Open button.

  5. Use the Design window to create professional looking reports.

  6. Use the Print button to print hard copies of reports.

     

    Alternatively, select File, Print, Printer on the menu bar.

  7. Use the Preview button to display a preview of the report on the Preview tab.

     

    Alternatively, select File, Print Preview on the menu bar.

  8. Use the Export button to export the report in one of several popular formats. You can export to a disk file, to an application, to a Lotus Notes database, to an Exchange Folder, or to email.

     

    Alternatively, select File, Export on the menu bar.

  9. In this example, you will print a hard copy of the report using the File, Print, Printer menu.

     

    Click the File menu.

  12. Use the Print dialog box to define the following options:

    •  Printing the entire report or specific pages of the report.

    •  Indicating the number of copies that you want to print.

    •  Indicating how you want the copies collated.

You have successfully printed a Crystal report.
