Administering Report Manager


Concept


Steps:

  1. Begin by navigating to the Roles page for the user profile.

     

    Click the PeopleTools link.

  2. Click the Security link.

  3. Click the User Profiles link.

    Step 3
  4. Select the user profile.

     

    Enter the desired information into the begins with field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "PTRPT"
    .

  5. Click the Search button.

  6. Click the Roles tab.

    Step 6
  7. Use the Roles page to add roles to a user profile. The roles define user access in the PeopleSoft system. Through roles, the user inherits permission lists.

  8. Use the Add Row icon to add a new role to this user profile.

     

    Click the Add Row button.

  9. The user profile needs the ReportDistAdmin role to administer the Report Repository.

     

    Enter the desired information into the Role Name field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "ReportDistAdmin"
    .

  10. Click the Save button.

You have completed the Administering Report Manager procedure.
