Viewing and Editing Selection Criteria

Steps:

1. Begin by navigating to the Criteria page.

    

   Click the Reporting Tools link.

   Step 1

2. Click the Query Manager link.

3. In this example, you search for the PT_MSG_PUBTO_NODES query.

    

   Enter the desired information into the begins with field. Enter

    a valid value
    e.g.
    "pt_msg"
   .

4. Click the Search button.

   Step 4

5. In this example, you view and edit selection criteria for the PT_MSG_PUBTO_NODES query.

    

   Click an entry in the Edit column.

6. Click the Criteria tab.

7. Use the Criteria page to view and edit selection criteria for your query statement.

8. Click the Logical list.

   Step 8

9. Click the OR list item.

   Step 9

10. In this example, you will reorder criteria.

     

    Note that the Message Node Name is the second criterion, and the Pub/Sub Direction is the third criterion.

11. Use the Reorder Criteria button to access the Edit Criteria Ordering page.

     

    Click the Reorder Criteria button.

12. Use the Edit Criteria Ordering page to reorder the criteria positions for your query.

13. Use the New Position column on the Edit Criteria Ordering page to enter the new positions for the criteria.

     

    In this case, change Message Node Name to become the third criterion.

     

    Enter the desired information into the New Position field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "3"
    .

14. In this case, change Pub/Sub Direction to become the second criterion.

     

    Enter the desired information into the New Position field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "2"

15. Use the OK button to return to the Criteria page.

     

    Click the OK button.

16. Note that the Message Node Name is now the third criterion and the Pub/Sub Direction is the second criterion.

17. Use the Group Criteria button to access the Edit Criteria Grouping page.

     

    Click the Group Criteria button.

18. Use the Edit Criteria Grouping page to group your criteria logically.

19. You can group criteria using parentheses.

     

    In this case, group the second criterion with the third criterion.

     

    Enter the desired information into the Pub / Sub Direction field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.

20. Enter the desired information into the Message Node Name field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     ")"

21. Click the OK button.
