Crystal Reports is a report formatting application that accesses queries that you store in PeopleSoft databases.


You generate formatted reports in Crystal Reports by creating report definitions in Crystal Reports that you link to an existing query.


From within Crystal Reports, you access queries through an Open Query connection to create a new report or run an existing one.


After you create and save the report definitions, you can print reports in a variety of formats, including text files, Microsoft Word documents, and spreadsheets.


Upon completion of this module, you will be able to:

• Describe Crystal Reports for Oracle PeopleSoft.

• Create, format, and run reports in Crystal Reports 9.

• Work with other Crystal Reports options.
