Understanding Condition Types


Concept


Steps:

  1. If the value in the Condition Type field is between, the value in the selected record field falls between two comparison values.

    Step 1
  2. If the value of the condition type is equal to, the value in the selected record field exactly matches the comparison value.

    Step 2
  3. If the value of the condition type is greater than, the value in the record field is greater than the comparison value.

    Step 3
  4. If the value of the condition type is in list, the value in the selected record field matches one of the comparison values in a list.

    Step 4
  5. If the value of the condition type is in tree, the value in the selected record field appears as a node in a tree created with Oracle PeopleSoft Tree Manager.

    Step 5
  6. If the value of the condition type is is null, the selected record field does not have a value in it.

    Step 6
  7. If the value of the condition type is less than, the value in the record field is less than the comparison value.

    Step 7
  8. If the value of the condition type is like, the value in the selected field matches a specified string pattern.
