The Manage Forum, Forum Privileges, and Forum Policy pages are used to manage a discussion forum. Forum members with moderator privileges can manage a discussion forum.
The Manage Forum page is used to define basic attributes of a discussion forum.
The Forum Privileges page is used to add or delete participants (members) and assign privileges for a discussion forum. You can add members by role or user ID. Three privilege levels are available for forum members: moderator, contributor, and viewer.
The Forum Policy page is used to define the policy statement for a discussion forum. The system provides a default forum policy statement. If this default policy statement is sufficient, you do not need to do anything on the Forum Policy page.
In this example, as the moderator for the forum, you will define basic attributes of the discussion forum, add members by user ID and role, and define the forum’s policy statement.
