In a collaborative workspace in Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal, the Calendar module enables workspace members to manage the workspace’s calendar. A workspace calendar provides a way to share, organize, and communicate about events that pertain to the workspace. Calendar membership can be assigned by user or by role. Calendar privileges include the ability to view the calendar (viewer), create and edit events (contributor), and modify calendar properties the calendar (administrator). Workspace members can view calendar events in the Calendar pagelet and the Upcoming Events pagelet on the welcome page or in the full-page view in the Calendar module.
