Adding a Link to a URL



  1. Begin by navigating to the Add Link page.


    Click the My Links list.

  2. Click the Edit My Links list item.

  3. Click the Add Link button.

  4. The Add Link page is used to add a link to a menu item, PeopleSoft query, or URL.

  5. You must select a Link Type for the link you're going to add.


    Click the Link Type list.

  6. Click the URL Address list item.

    Step 6
  7. Click in the Name field.

  8. Enter the desired information into the Name field. Enter

     a valid value
     "Oracle University"

  9. The URL address is required. Enter a complete URL in this field.


    Click in the URL Address field.

  10. Enter the desired information into the URL Address field. Enter

     a valid value

    Step 10
  11. Because you will navigate away from your PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal with an external URL, it is best to open this URL in a new window.


    Click the Open in a new window option.

  12. Click the Save button.

You have completed adding a link to a URL.
