Adding a Document



  1. Begin by navigating to an Add Document page in a collaborative workspace.


    Click the Workspaces link.

  3. Click an entry in the Name column.

  5. Click an entry in the Title column.

  7. Use the Add Document page to specify the content you want to add to a collaborative workspace. The Documents module supports file attachments, managed content, and text or HTML content creation.


    In this example, you will add content as a file attachment. Then, you will add another piece of managed content to a folder in the Documents module.

  11. Use the File Attachment Properties page to enter content properties such as content location, content approver, and content version; to submit content for approval; and to maintain comments or discussions specific to that piece of content, among other functions.

     a valid value
     "Understanding Community Calendars"

  25. Use the Look Up Managed Content page to select a piece of managed content.

  29. Use the Documents page to manage the contents of the current folder. You can add folders, add documents, view documents, browse the subfolder hierarchy, and view the properties associated with subfolders and documents.


    Notice that the recently added documents appear in the folder contents.
