Steps:
Begin by navigating to the Content Source page.
Click the Content Management link.
Step 1Click the Browse Folders link.
Step 2Click the Properties link.
Step 3Click the Content Source tab.
Step 4Use the Content Source page to associate an already defined content data source with the selected folder in categorized content. The content data source was previously defined on the Categorization Spider page.
In this example, as a top administrator for categorized content, you will associate an already defined content data source with this top folder in categorized content.
Step 5Click the Source Type list.
Step 6Specify the same source type that was specified on the Categorization Spider page.
Click the File Server list item.
Step 7Select the Auto Expand Folder option to have the spider crawl subfolders on the source. Every subfolder on the source becomes a new subfolder beneath the current folder if the subfolder doesn’t already exist. If you don’t select this check box, only the content that resides directly at the root of the source path is processed.
Click the Auto Expand Folder option.
Step 8Click the Look up Source Name button.
Step 9Use the Look up Source Name page to select the already defined content data source.
Step 10Click an entry in the Source Name column.
Step 11When you select a value for the source name using the lookup prompt, the system automatically inserts the correctly formatted string into the Source Path field based on the value defined for the Spider Start Location field on the Categorization Spider page.
Step 12Click the Save button.
Step 13You have completed associating a content data source with a folder in categorized content.
