Moving a Folder in Managed Content



  1. Begin by navigating to the Move Folder page.


    Click the Content Management link.

  2. Click the Browse Folders link.

  3. Select the folder that you want to move.


    Click the Properties link.

  4. Click the Move Folder link.

  5. Use the Move Folder page to change the location of a subfolder. If the user performing the move is a top administrator, a subfolder can also be promoted to be a top folder for the content management feature, or vice versa.


    In this example, as a top administrator for managed content, you will move this top folder to become a subfolder in managed content.

  6. Click the 1002 - Corporate Communications link.

  7. Notice that the breadcrumbs indicate that the folder is now a subfolder.


    Click the Save button.

You have completed moving a folder in the managed content feature of the content management system.
