Creating a Community Calendar



  1. Begin by navigating to the Calendar Properties page.


    Click the My Content link.

  2. Click the My Community Calendars link.

  3. Click the Add Calendar button.

  4. Use the Calendar Properties page to define the basic attributes of a community calendar.

  5. Enter the desired information into the Title field. Enter

     a valid value
     "Milano Grand Opening"

  6. Click in the Description field.

    Step 6
  7. Enter the desired information into the Description field. Enter

     a valid value
     "Events and milestones for the Milano grand opening"

  8. Retain the default Active option to make the calendar active and have the calendar appear in the portal or site. If this option is not selected, the calendar will not be available to users.


    Click the Save button.

  9. Click the Return link.

  10. Optionally, you can view your new calendar in the default, monthly, view.


    Click an entry in the Title column.

You have completed creating a community calendar.
